The Binky Buddy - A Mom's Must Have!

The Binky Buddy was first envisioned in 2005 after Matthew and Kelly Whitehead had their first child, Samantha. Sammy had trouble sleeping and the only thing that would keep her comforted at night was her pacifier.

Kelly's mom Virginia worked in the Neonatal Nursery. There the nurses would take a hospital towel, put it through the ring on a pacifier and wrap it with adhesive tape. They would give this to the many babies in the ward that needed to have a pacifier for comfort.

Matt and Kelly tried this with Sammy and it worked! Matt went on to develop a pacifier extension prototype. After trying many different designs he created what is now called the Binky Buddy.

Matt and Kelly found that the Binky Buddy also was useful in the car seat and the stroller or baby carrier. Sammy could find the pacifier by herself without Matt or Kelly having to reach back while driving to find it for her. The Binky Buddy also held the pacifier so it would not drop on the ground when Sammy was in her car seat or carrier. Many friends and strangers alike would ask about the Binky Buddy when they saw Sammy using it. Seeing an opportunity to help other parents, Matt started WM Company LLC to further develop and market the Binky Buddy. The purpose being so that more Moms and Dads could get a good night sleep and their babies would be happier and more easily comforted.

Matt is the owner and CEO of WM Company LLC and Kelly is the Vice President. WM was founded in 2006 and is the owner and distributor of the Binky Buddy. WM is a new company that develops and promotes products that help make caring for a baby a more relaxed and enjoyable adventure.
